Waddell & Reed Financial (NYSE:WDR) reported quarterly earnings of $0.41 per share which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $0.46 by 10.87 percent. This is a 19.61 percent decrease over earnings of $0.51 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $278.06 million which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $270.75 million by 2.70 percent.
