Advanced Micro Devices, Blackstone And These Defensive Plays Feature On CNBC's 'Final Trades'

Author: Priya Nigam | November 07, 2022 09:03am

On CNBC’s “Halftime Report Final Trades,” Bryn Talkington of Requisite Capital Management said JPMorgan Nasdaq Equity Premium Income ETF (NASDAQ:JEPQ) sold calls on the Nasdaq. The ETF has an annualized premium income of 17%, she said.

Shannon Saccocia of Boston Private chose Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) as her final trade. Despite being “cautious in semis,” AMD is a good pick, as the company is “very strong in datacenters and plans to “clear out inventory in Q4,” she stated.

Although PCs are struggling, the company is taking market share from Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC), which “should offer a tailwind for the stock going into next year,” Saccocia added.

Jason Snipe of Odyssey Capital Advisors said Blackstone Inc. (NYSE:BX) had raised $45 billion in the third quarter, which was a very difficult market environment.

Stephen Weiss of Short Hills Capital Partners recommended the US 6 Month Treasury as his final trade.
