New Jersey Resources (NYSE:NJR) reported quarterly adjusted earnings of $0.30 per share which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $0.32 by 6.25 percent. This is a 40 percent decrease over earnings of $0.50 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $331.32 million which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $760.00 million by 56.40 percent. This is a 56.72 percent decrease over sales of $765.49 million the same period last year.
