Shifting Focus To Vape Hardware Secures Top Product Award For This Cannabis Company

Author: Jelena Martinovic | March 25, 2024 03:29pm

TILT Holdings Inc. (OTCQB:TLLTF) said on Monday that it was awarded the best vape product at one of the nation's cannabis competitions.

Its subsidiary, Standard Farms won first place for best vape cartridge in the 2024 NECANN Cup with the Mimosa Liquid Live Rosin "All-in-One" Vape using the Jupiter/CCELL Voca Pro hardware.

"Being awarded the best vape product at one of the nation's leading cannabis competitions with our sought-after Mimosa live rosin strain helps solidify TILT's position as an industry leader in product and hardware innovation," Tim Conder, Tilt’s CEO, said. "Our team deserves recognition for their commitment to delivering the best cannabis products across the markets we serve."

Massachusetts patients and consumers can find Standard Farms products in-store at any of the Commonwealth Alternative Care, Inc. locations statewide.

Conder, who assumed the role of permanent CEO last year, will be joining other top CEOs, entrepreneurs and industry stakeholders at the upcoming Benzinga Cannabis Capital Conference on April 16-17 in Florida.

Before becoming Tilt’s CEO, Conder spearheaded significant cost-cutting measures to shift the company’s focus toward the vape hardware business. To achieve that goal, the company said at the time, its subsidiary Jupiter Research, would concentrate on vape hardware distribution.

Standard Farms' Voca Pro Liquid Live Rosin “All-In-One” Vape that was awarded the title was provided by Jupiter and powered by CCELL technologies. It combines the functionality of a high-quality hardware device with the potency and efficacy of a solventless cannabis input material.

At a previous Benzinga Cannabis Capital Conference in Chicago, Conder spoke about the intricacies of establishing prosperous cannabis enterprises amid evolving regulations.

He said "The right investors are not scared by the complexity of cannabis regulations,” adding that “if they are, it’s a giant red flag.”

Interestingly, Conder's predecessor, Gary Santo, who led TILT's expansion and strategic shift towards a brand partner-focused, B2B consumer packaged goods model, effectively leveraging the business’s comprehensive capabilities, will also speak at the April 16-17 cannabis event in Florida.
