NIO Inc. (NYSE:NIO) has reportedly inaugurated a new showroom in Germany, marking its second opening on a smaller scale this month.

NIO has announced the official opening of its Nio Hub in Cologne, Germany, CnEV Post reported, citing a post on Weibo.

The report noted that Cologne, located on the Rhine River in western Germany, is renowned for its cathedral, industrial prominence, and status as a financial center.

NIO stated that the experience center is situated southwest of Cologne, close to the German A1 highway.

NIO’s Weibo post shared several images of the NIO Hub without further details, CnEV post added.

This marks NIO’s second showroom addition in Germany this month, following the opening of its flagship NIO House in Hamburg on June 20.

NIO operates four NIO Houses in Germany and eight across Europe, with the exact number of NIO Hubs undisclosed. These expansions coincide with impending EU tariffs on Chinese EVs.

On May 23, NIO launched its largest European facility in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, spanning eight stories.

Recently, two spy shots of NIO’s Onvo L60 have been reportedly circulating in multiple WeChat group chats. The shots showcase the model’s interior with detailed features, which may undergo adjustments for the final mass production.

Price Action: NIO shares are trading lower by 0.23% to $4.37 premarket at last check Friday.
