Jim Cramer Is 'Mystified' By Five Below, Predicts CrowdStrike 'Is Going To Bottom Here'

Author: Avi Kapoor | July 26, 2024 09:15am

On CNBC's “Mad Money Lightning Round,” Jim Cramer said he is “very mystified” by Five Below, Inc. (NASDAQ:FIVE).

“I don't know what happened there. I know there were many operational problems — CEO leaves, they don't really explain what's going on,” Cramer adds.

He has nothing good to say about Five Below, until they “get their act together.”

On July 16, Five Below announced a CEO transition and provided updated guidance for the second quarter. The value retailer announced that Joel Anderson stepped down from his roles as president and CEO to pursue other interests. Anderson will also step down from the company's board.

Cramer recommends buying Dell Technologies Inc. (NYSE:DELL). The company will conduct a conference call on July 31 to discuss its corporate sustainability strategy.

“It's kind of interesting, it's a single-family home, and I like that business very much,” Cramer said about Dream Finders Homes, Inc. (NYSE:DFH).

On May 2, Dream Finders Homes reported worse-than-expected first-quarter financial results.

“I don't really want to auto stocks right here, Cramer said when asked about Toyota Motor Corporation (NYSE:TM). They've just become way too dicey, prices are coming down. Let's say no to the autos, other than GM (NYSE:GM).”

Lexus, the premium brand of Toyota, is reportedly planning to establish its own factory in China. Initially, it aims to manufacture the Lexus UX hybrid and a new battery electric vehicle (BEV) model.

The “Mad Money” host said CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:CRWD) is going to bottom here. “I don't want to write this company off, Kurtz [CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz] is too good,” he added.

CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz confirmed that more than 97% of the company's Windows sensors are back online following a global outage.

When asked about A10 Networks, Inc. (NYSE:ATEN), he said, “It's network security. If you're going to do network security, I'm still going to say Palo Alto (NYSE:PANW).”

A10 Networks will release second quarter financial results after the closing bell on Tuesday, July 30.
