Aflac (NYSE:AFL) reported quarterly earnings of $1.83 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.60 by 14.38 percent. This is a 15.82 percent increase over earnings of $1.58 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $5.138 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $4.314 billion by 19.10 percent. This is a 0.66 percent decrease over sales of $5.172 billion the same period last year.
