Westlake Chemical (NYSE:WLKP) reported quarterly earnings of $0.41 per share which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $0.44 by 6.82 percent. This is a 20.59 percent increase over earnings of $0.34 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $284.168 million which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $270.000 million by 5.25 percent. This is a 7.57 percent increase over sales of $264.177 million the same period last year.
