Mike Tyson's TYSON 2.0 announced on Friday that it is expanding into Florida and Illinois with multi-state cannabis operator Verano Holdings Corp. (CSE:VRNO) (OTCQX:VRNOF).
Under the deal, TYSON 2.0 will leverage Verano's network and operational expertise to broaden its saturation of Florida and Illinois markets.
Verano's state-of-the-art cultivation facilities and dispensaries – MÜV in Florida and Zen Leaf in Illinois – are expected to scale TYSON 2.0's impact.
TYSON 2.0's famous Mike Bites edibles are now available in both markets. Additionally, vape cartridges are currently available in Illinois with plans to launch in Florida later this year.

George Archos, Verano’s founder and CEO, seconded Tyson.

In the meantime, a recent collaboration with a cannabis operator Lowell Farms Inc. resulted in a a special line of pre-rolls released in California. The legendary boxer's TYSON 2.0 35's pre-rolls are now available across the Golden State at select retail locations, including Harborside, One Plant, The Reef, Elevate Lompoc, Blazed Utopia and The Circle.
California’s product launch came on the heels of a collaboration with vape manufacturer Holiday to bring a premium cannabis vape collection to New York consumers in July.
