- Starbucks Corporation (NASDAQ:SBUX) stock escalated 24.08% after the company announced that Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE:CMG) CEO and Chairman Brian Niccol was named Starbucks’ new Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, effective September 9.
- Super Micro Computer, Inc. (NASDAQ:SMCI) stock jumped 23.06% following Soros Fund Management’s disclosure in its SEC Form 13F filing, revealing that the fund has purchased 24,898 shares of Super Micro Computer.
- Dell Technologies Inc. (NYSE:DELL) shares increased 20.72% following price target increases from the analysts.
- Sea Limited (NYSE:SE) stock upped 18.42% after the company reported second-quarter results, and several analysts raised the price target on the stock.
- Carvana Co (NYSE:CVNA) stock rose 17.55% amid a gain in auto-related stocks following a rise in July auto sales.
