American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE:AEO) reported quarterly earnings of $0.39 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $0.38 by 2.63 percent. This is a 56 percent increase over earnings of $0.25 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.29 billion which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $1.31 billion by 1.45 percent. This is a 7.50 percent increase over sales of $1.20 billion the same period last year.
