Bank of Nova Scotia (NYSE:BNS) reported quarterly earnings of C$1.76 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of C$1.65 by 6.67 percent. This is a 4.14 percent increase over earnings of C$1.69 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of C$9.37 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of C$8.86 billion by 5.81 percent. This is a 11.13 percent increase over sales of C$8.43 billion the same period last year.
