G-III Apparel Posts Better-Than-Expected Earnings, Joins Ballard Power Systems, Dollar General And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Thursday

U.S. stocks were lower, with the Dow Jones index falling around 100 points on Thursday.

Shares of G-III Apparel Group, Ltd. (NASDAQ:GIII) gained 13.9% to $28.87 after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter financial results and issued FY26 adjusted EPS guidance above estimates.

The company reported fourth-quarter sales growth of 9.8% year-on-year to $839.535 million, beating the analyst consensus estimate of $807.590 million. Adjusted EPS of $1.27 beat the consensus estimate of 97 cents.

Korn Ferry shares jumped 9.8% to $68.68 on Tuesday.

NextNav Inc. (NASDAQ:NN) rose 17.7% to $12.10 following fourth-quarter results.
Advantage Solutions Inc. (NYSE:ADV) gained 15.4% to $1.9500.
Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) rose 15.4% to $23.87 as the company announced a new chief executive officer. The company said its board of directors has appointed Lip-Bu Tan, a former member of Intel’s board of directors, as chief executive officer, effective March 18.
Claros Mortgage Trust, Inc. (NYSE:CMTG) gained 13.1% to $3.8700.
Legacy Housing Corporation (NASDAQ:LEGH) rose 11.8% to $27.68 after reporting full year 2024 financial results.
Fabrinet (NYSE:FN) climbed 9.4% to $219.65 after the company entered an agreement with Amazon for warrant allowing up to 381,922 shares at $208.48 each.
Pharming Group N.V. (NASDAQ:PHAR) gained 9.3% to $8.70 after the company reported fourth-quarter financial results and beat its EPADS and sales estimates.
D-Wave Quantum Inc. (NYSE:QBTS) rose 9.2% to $6.36 as the company reported fourth-quarter adjusted earnings per share of 8 cents loss, missing the street view of 7 cents loss. Quarterly sales of $2.309 million (down 21% year over year), missing the analyst consensus estimate of $2.36 million.
Allegro MicroSystems, Inc. (NASDAQ:ALGM) gained 8% to $26.94. Allegro MicroSystems named Rick Madormo as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales.
Ballard Power Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:BLDP) rose 7.3% to $1.32 following fourth-quarter results.
Dollar General Corporation (NYSE:DG) gained 6.9% to $79.98 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly sales results.
Dollar Tree, Inc. (NASDAQ:DLTR) gained 6.6% to $66.01.
The AES Corporation (NYSE:AES) rose 4% to $12.28. AES reported the pricing of $800 million of its 5.800% senior notes due 2032.
