Axis Capital Holdings (NYSE:AXS) reported quarterly earnings of $3.29 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.96 by 11.15 percent. This is a 12.29 percent increase over earnings of $2.93 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.63 billion which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $1.65 billion by 0.86 percent. This is a 12.47 percent increase over sales of $1.45 billion the same period last year.
