American Finl Gr (NYSE:AFG) reported quarterly earnings of $2.14 per share which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $2.15 by 0.47 percent. This is a 16.41 percent decrease over earnings of $2.56 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.65 billion which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $1.77 billion by 6.86 percent. This is a 3.91 percent increase over sales of $1.58 billion the same period last year.
